art glass polaroid: Road to Bushwick
#artglasspolaroid is an original idea by Kathy Seff.
From Photo > to Sketch > to Ink Painted on Kiln Glass she handcuts and fires.
When commuting from her studio to her home in Brooklyn, the artist usually opted for the Jackie Robinson Parkway.... the road less traveled, winding and narrow roads dropping you off in Bushwick.
Finished glass is the size of Polaroid 600 film and created entirely in kiln-formed glass and hand painted by Kathy, with ink that is fired into the glass. (Text on white area of photo is watermarking)
Hang on wall or window: Leather hanger with copper wire accents
Painted with water from the Carmen's River
